This is the official YouTube channel of the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit’s Cultural Affairs and Public Relations Section. The Cultural Affairs and Public Relations Section promotes knowledge and understanding of Japan and Japanese culture through educational, cultural and grassroots events and programs.

Nice to meet you. I am a U.S. tax attorney working on Tax-related business in California.
I make videos of frequently asked questions from my clients, things that are hard to understand from my point of view, things that are good to know, saving for retirement, etc.
I would like to make more How To videos to make it easier to understand.

Individual Income Tax is paid to the Federal （ IRS ）. Many States also require Income Tax to be paid to the State as well. In California, where I live, we pay State Tax.

Since I live in California, I often use California as an example when I talk about State Tax, but the story for Federal （ IRS is the same for all states in the US, so I hope you can find it useful. I think you will find it helpful.

I will make one U.S. Tax related video a month from now on.
